Fine
Art oil painting as investment art not only has commercial value
but a priceless value in inspiring viewers to a deeper revelation
reality of the seen and unseen world around us.
Therefore in my
opinion good art cannot be truly valued financially
except by what
current fashions dictate.
Oil
Painting as fine art investment is valued in truth
by the heart of the viewer only when they have taken time out to
meditate on the intent of the artist and seen beyond what the eye
sees into the spirit associated with it's creation. Of
course there are those who place their own interpretation
upon
the art works and more often than not will vary greatly to
what the artist originally had in mind
Many
reasons therefore there are for buying an original work just as
there are for creating the work. IE:if it is safe to invest a financial
stake in an appreciating art value, if it is purely a visual stimulation
of beauty to have in ones home, if it satisfies ones ego to own
a named artists original, if it speaks a word of truth prophetically
of mankind's condition that inspires one to be wise, if it portrays
the dark side of the depraved mind that one can relate to or just
simply tell the story of the conflict or beauty in nature it is
all relevant to one soul (the artist) speaking their mind for the
rest of us (the world) to see. In our cultural fashions we will
then use what was created as a tool to satisfy our own desires in
whatever influence we are motivated by. The next and following generations
will place their
own values upon what has gone in the past and being
that if the the artist is dead and
cannot create any more of what
once was highly sort after will by financial reasoning become highly
prized and valued accordingly.
Surrealism,
(fine art from the inner man or imagination of the artist) is influenced
by many factors related to the artists life influences, century
of existence, spiritual influences, gifted and discipline of talents
which all stimulate the passions of the artist enough to tell the
story they see. The rest of humanity will judge them good or bad
relevant to current philosophies and fashions out of each genre
of and of course by their own subjective influences and likes or
dislikes. Whatever the reason another judges the art it will not
change the fact that the creator of the work is the only one who
will truly know the intent and purpose of it's original idea.
If they communicate that openly to us, the viewer, we will be enlightened
but if they don't we will only speculate about the intent and that
is the mystery of creativity.
Fine Art Surrealism and Photo
Realism can have a message out of the darkness of the soul or be
inspired by the hope of seeing a brighter optimistic future. It
is in effect a poem or psalm not in words but in an image expressing
the angst or delight intended. There is no doubt art is inspired
by the human soul and it's experiences or by a higher inspiration
out of a heavenly vision and therefore be prophetic in inheritance
for good or for evil. Sometimes it just expresses the pain of the
artist from a depressed dysfunctional view about what life has to
offer which to me has a message all of it's own, even if it is dark
and depressing.
