With the discovery of modern digital cameras
and reproduction methods, it is so much easier to bring to you recorded
images of scenery, wildlife, birds in flight and animal antics you may never see with your own eyes.
Film photography is no better artistically speaking.
However the production time is somewhat longer and in many instances the photography images differ
to those taken with a digital camera.
Regardless of result, the artistic content
will be accepted or rejected by you - the viewer.
Through my lens I have seen an untold story of a wildlife tragedy or something worth celebrating. I
am privileged to be able to introduce you to a
small portion of scenery, bird life, wildlife and breathtaking views throughout the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, that have touched my heart.
These
images continue to be a source of inspiration for the surreal
in many of my paintings, poetry, illustrations and leather art.
