"Fine Art Oil Painting"
Oil painting can be seen in the
reflection of a master's hand in creation through the eyes of an artist's imagination. This may be seen at every turning
of the eye whether it's the imagination of a painter in oil, wildlife photographer, illustrator, sculptor, poet, lyricist, everyone who has a brain sees something that can be captured to tell a story of about what they see and an oil painter is specially gifted to tell the story in a unique way.
Art, poetry, music, science, biology, physics, law, order, space, micro biology, creation, relationships, the world of the spirit ... everywhere art is seen you see a portion of the divines intent.
From
the small wildlife marsupial in the desert to the wonder of mans exploration
of a distant planet; the birth of a dolphin to the skeleton of
a dinosaur in the dust; Hubble's images of new stars to the nerve endings in the Iris of an eye, a bird in flight winging on the wind, all reflect the extraordinary hand of a divine creator to whom I can only bow in humility and adoration of.
If
I can capture some of this wonder and inspire at least
one of you to the greater picture - the marvel of creation and the
stories within, to paint, to photograph, to illustrate, to carve out in leather or right a poem about - then I have done my job because every
day, for me, is full of wonder.
Whatever time I have
left on this planet, it will never be long enough to discover all that life contains and that is why I pray, as David did, as recorded
in the Biblical Psalms that, "I might have wisdom to order my times
rightly with the days that I have allotted to me". It is also a sobering
and comforting thought that life does not end in the grave.
With that in mind I paint until
... as my uncle calls it ... "I fall off the perch!!!"
Then, I will leave my paint brushes on this earth and travel to heaven
where the next part of my journey will unfold.
