THE NAKED BLIND TRUTH

Naive, Naked, Blind

You took a man to the precipice of hell
Words, sweetened with desire
His dreams followed to the forbidden fire

The man’s secret - Do not tell.

His heart full of questions to ask
The desire to know would it last
With a rush of pleasure in the air
He thought your wisdom would surely care

Fallen - Darkness and despair

Multiple years
Guilt chained in the pleasure
He cried for eyes to see
Bitter tears stole his leisure
He could not let it be

Shame - Never good enough for the family tree

Surreal but no illusion
Rescued by the blood of divine intrusion
You, his friend reached into the dark
Placed your hand within his heart

Truths justice - Now free to tell

A lover opened his eyes to hell

po10-02
GOD BLESS LITTLE TURDS

Little turd's
From long legged hungry birds
Fall to the ground
Unwanted droppings

Crap
Little turd's

Ecology

Little turd's full of life unseen
Breakdown and supply a bean

Bean grows

Long stemmed plant births a flower
Kissed by the breeze every hour
Oxygen dispersed in the air
A life cycle designed to care

Flower dies and becomes a pod

More beans made by God

Take a peck hungry bird
Swallow whole
And make a turd

po10-03
DAWN CHORUS

Wake up at dawn
An opportunity to feed

Lay down with Dawn
A time to sow your seed

Marriage to antiquity
Days of future past

Tethered to genesis
Your spirit was made to last

Wake up to dawn
And remember all that's past

What lives under the firmament
It’s DNA, coded never to last

Therefore, of all your dreams
And living intent

Choose wisely
Before your last breath is spent

po10-04
THE COCKEREL AND LOVE OF VANITY

Hand your crowing to the master of dawn
Proud boasting has been born
Before the threshing floor of justice
A page in your dream was torn
Lost in the cries of under paid labour
Scene of arrogance and self centred scorn
Love misguided
Light in the dawn

Your towers rise with glorious design
Alongside your puffed up heart
No simple crime
Burning your conscience
With avarice and greed
You overlooked your neighbour
And destroyed a royal seed

The one of love
For which men plead
My guess
He will see their need

Your crowing must have it's transparency
A day of justice for all to see
Your arrogant heart
Accountable
Visible
Vanities pride
Humility waiting for you to ride

So crow all you want
Cockerel at dawn
Don't forget love
Before death doth swallow
And torment be born

po10-06
SENSUALITY AND COVENANT LOVE

Your love twisted my heart
With gentle fingers caressing flesh
Deeper than skin
Emotions played their part

Like warm chocolate twirling around
Strawberry fruit divine
Sensual rushes of delight
Journeyed up my well designed spine
Twisting turning
Shots of liqueur in liquid shafts
Travel deep within desires paths
Somewhere out of time

I floated there amidst the pleasure
Boundaries within covenant love
Sexual ecstasy so sublime
You're my treasure little dove

Beauty so divine
My desired chosen one
Lovers between the sheets
Higher than the war of words
Found lusting in the streets
I look at you all satisfied
The treasure of my soul
Sensual is the story
Your breasts have played there role

And to God be the glory
For this love so sublime
Tenderness and passion
A reflection of the divine

po10-08
WISDOM IN THE SAND

Whisper to me sand
And tell about the sky
Soft clouds of moisture
Play before my watchful eye
Gentle breeze in the firmament
With the care of a lovers hand
Draws wispy sheets so softly
A across the parched dry land

With a gentle kiss
On your dusty cheek
A tear falls to the ground
The playful birds sing a chorus
Within the waters
Absent of empty sound

In the quiet of this moment
No more turmoil within my heart
Sand has spoken it's wisdom
Take time out to observe the sky
Let gratitude's wonder
Play it's worthy part

po10-09
ALL KISSED BY A LOVERS HAND

This God light stirs within me
Strong emotions of the divine
On the edge of the universe
Somewhere out of time

Reflections in the water
Massaging the gentle sand
This is the work of the master
From the creative in His hand

And here I see with my eyes
I feel deeply within my heart
Time out to rest
Beyond some prejudice art

To drink in this life
From hatred I must depart
The colours
The actions
The birds in the air
The oxygen breathed
The breeze in my hair
All kissed by my lovers hand
From the God of Gods
His signature is written with purpose
Deeply
Within the grains of sand

po10-10
WHERE ARE YOU GOD 1

This God light written in the sky
Brought me to wonder
Was there a lie
Sovereign hungers
An appetite full of requests
Do we have to die as unwanted pests

Where are you God
To speak to with reason
That I might listen
Without some hidden treason
As I've observed before my eyes this day
Someone must have made it
You the potter and I am the clay

With a knowledge deep within
I admire this view
All these wonders
They belong to you
So let it be as a reasonable man
Open the eyes of my heart and reveal your plan
For I as a son want to tell your story
And paint you a picture
As it reflects the wonder of your glory

po10-11
WHERE ARE YOU MR GOD

I've looked hear
I've looked there
Drugs have traveled through my veins
I've lost most of my hair

I've listened to the philosophers
I've followed religious addictions
I've had sex till I'm sick of it
With no moral convictions

I've lied to cover my stupid pride
I've drunk with the rich and poor
It seems I've worn my welcome out
By opening every door

No matter what I chose to do
There's always a critic who wants to sue
Optimists, so few and far between
A part of me empathises with the playful Mr. Bean

But better still in my lonely search
His majesty led me to His loyal church
I met this man who died on a tree
Alone and shamed
He did it for me

And there I was
Naked before His very eye
No condemnation
Found in your Son Mr. God
You never told me a lie

po10-12
GIVE ME BACK MY BROKEN DREAM

You thief in the night
Come when unseen
Promises of tomorrows delight
I heard your voice
I lost my sight
My flame extinguished
In the darkness of your light

You come tomorrow in the fears I have seen
Thief
What have you done with my wonderful dream
A world in peace and absence of lies
My neighbours care
There are no flies

I want my Love
Tis the hunger in my heart
Slept with lust and lost the art
To touch your wound and play my part
A lover with some tender dream
Died the death of a mortal
In the polluted stream

Thief
What of love
I now see your charm
You promised me a life of thrills
Without the payment plan
I learned the drills
Pleasures with no boundaries set
My appetite was naked
There for all to wet

po10-14
EMBERS OF THE DAY REMIND ME
OF DAYLIGHTS REST

Embers of the day
They visit us consistently
To remind of daylights rest
I've watched the birds fly home
To the comfort of their nest

Energy all but spent
Twilight colours kiss my cheeks
The warm flood of peace
Massages within my heart
A gentle whisper speaks

Time to rest from my labour
The days toil is complete
Its time to kiss my beloved
And lay me gently down
At her loyal, adorable feet

A glass of red, a word so soft
Music to entertain and calm
Tis good to see embers rich
Praise at the end of a day
Written in a psalm

And so it is with love and care
When all else has finished
Look toward your lovers hand
Before the dying embers
Are well and truly diminished

po10-15
THE HEAVENS HAVE TO CRY

I've watched little rain drops
Falling from the sky
For the earth to be watered
The heavens have to cry
And so in God I live
I move and have my being
Very grateful now
For what my heart is seeing

Liquid aqua kissing the glass
Running to the earth
Gravity plays it's part
In this silent birth
There is a whispering sound
Of the speech from the divine
This all is so very profound

My feet now placed firmly
Upon this holy court
I see when dreams are seeds
Divinely sown purity
In a modern thought

The child like heart of tears
Simple joys and playful pleasure
Never to be mocked
When aspirations are made in leisure

po10-16
ZEPHER - KISSING THE
ASPIRATIONS OF DAWN

Gently
The breeze
A zephyr through the night
Kisses the aspirations of dawn
Birds wing there way in light
Thoughts of love and tenderness
Have lighted in my soul
The Man of Peace has sown his seed
Gently
To fill my empty bowl

po10-17
ANCHORS IN THE DIVINE AND THE
FLAME WITHIN MY HEART

I go to Church you frighten me
A Mosque is just the same
I browse in a Synagogue
The domain of many Jews
And look for someone else to blame
All reports are that they serve you God
And I wonder
What the heck is your name
You must be some sort of freak
Or this is just some foolish game

I turn to Krishna with a thin disguise
And ask who do I seek when I want to tell lies
God is confused with messages so many
I dream of your thoughts for just one penny
Or maybe with Hells Angels I will strike a retreat
Or the businessman with a promise
Make more money from those on the street
All is well the optimists speak
I feel insulted like the mindless geek

Then to discover
Buddha the pacifist and Jesus don't meet
One says reincarnated for the life of your soul
The other says He will wash my feet from the love in His bowl
Then comes Mohammed with a one way sign
I'm in bloody strife from the divine

So what of hope I wonder why
It's easy to see why the widow will cry
The bi-polar man like me will die
And we'll all forget the stupid lie
Or will I stand before a God like you
With Arab, Russian, Australian and Jew
To give an account of what I do
Where the tears of sorrow and loneliness dry
At the cross of Christ
I shall surely cry

po10-18
THE HUNTER GATHERER AND
MORTAL PAIN

Hunters and gatherers
My eyes delight to see
What wonders I can collect down by the sea
In the business house where money is made
I like to collect much more
A passion to gather and conquer
I will add to my score

It is within my nature to collect and to horde
To scurry about with purpose
Pining memories on a boasters board
In covetousness pride with passion
I'll rip you off with selfish intent
To satisfy the current fashion

Never mind the surplus stored
And those with greater need
Fill up the larder to satisfy my maternal greed
For all to covert its is ours to gain
A boasters mouth we'll feed
This is vanity of vanities
Living death from a loveless seed

Then as if it will never end
We are taken by surprise
Standing naked at the door of death
Clothed in our bloody lies
The truth just like the poison dart
Will inflict it's mortal pain
Unless of course we give up our pursuit
In chasing what is vain
To serve an omniscient designer
With knowledge and intent
The joy of serving others
Inspired with His spirit
After we repent

Then one day a hunter
Will gather the collectors mortal heart
Buried in a lonely grave separated and apart
For naked we come and naked we go
Vanity what we hoarded
The day of justice we will separate
No matter what we know

The omniscient one has recorded
The gatherers wealth and greed
Revealing the hearts intention
What motive was in the deed
But if we take a change of heart
And feed the lonely poor
For Christ's sake well be rewarded
And gather from heavens store
The pleasure and fullness of life is the dream
Take stock of your choice
And give Him your self esteem

po10-19
MUST GO FOR A WALK TODAY

With pleasant thoughts after dark
The soles of my feet caress the park
The scent of salt in the air
The beach just over there
Sprinkled with the voice of birds
Music through my hair

Water trickles between my toes
Left over from the rain
A flower visits my eyes
I blink a little in front of my brain
And smell the mist
Full of life I take a twist
And prior to a sneeze
I turn into the gentle breeze

The dog barks
Give me breakfast please
An hour had past
The earth had spun
The clouds had moved
I had won
Over the doom and gloom
Of recession thoughts
Magistrates in worldly courts
Scribes who speak in media print
This story is worthy of your ink

I had walked a country mile
Upon my face I wore a smile
Tell them please
Take a walk today
Before the dawn and after dark
Place the soles of your feet
In a public park
Hear the sounds
Smell the air
Taste the beauty everywhere
The gentle breeze
Will ruffle your hair

po10-22
A TREASURY OF PLEASURES

How warm to my blood
The early mormning sun
Breakfast treasured
Purkulating for the next journey
Deep down in my tum

I air this jacket covering my wing
With friends this is treasure
No bad news
Pure pleasure
Should I dance
No
I just want to sing
