THE
STORY:
Looking out of the aircraft window on the way to Fiji caused me to
marvel about many things. The curvature of the earth, the mystery of the heavens the effect
of the sun on heating the planet and generating life under the clouds
... a marvel that words are to inadequate to describe.
Under the refracted sunlight on the water is a vast mystery of the deep. At 30,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean I can only wonder at the sea creatures living in that great aquarium and being transported by this big bird in the sky, this man made marvel of engineering createdl from materials on the earth below, leaves me gobsmacked. (A combination of gob, mouth, and smacked. It means "utterly astonished", "astounded" - much stronger than just being surprised. it is used to describe something that leaves you speechless or stops you dead in your tracks.
