THE
STORY:
Inspiration came to me as I walked along the Mahurangi River next to my studio in Warkworth, New Zealand.The day before I had observed the
patience of a Gray Heron patiently waiting for it's
meal, a feed of white bait (New Zealand word for young hatchling fish)
swimming upstream. I knew there was a pattern here so I returned the next day with a camera with tripod to photograph the event and to capture
the softening of the water. I knew this was possible, having observed
that the Heron was extremely still while waiting as the water rushed downstream. My bonus was that
the following day it turned up with it's mate, so I was twice
blessed with a unique capture.
The lesson I have learned from this
is patience and while waiting for good things to come my way, I will endeavor to do the right thing according to the circumstances I find myself in.
This is very much an active participation in exercising my faith
in the Divine Law as written in The Constitution from Heaven. The manufacturer of the natural instincts in these birds reflects the wisdom in all things made and this day I saw patience without stress and anxiety. I hope you understand
my insight here because it has given me a greater peace and
freedom to enjoy and be grateful for what is in front of me. Like
the Heron in this photo I am learning to trust, with patience,
that my feed will come despite not seeing it in advance. The Heron and an inner knowing food was there.

: Photographed with a Canon 5D Mark 1 and edited on a Mac G5 in Photoshop CS4. .
