THE
STORY:
Listening to a chorus of sea gulls playful on their way home to roost, left me wondering about rest and playfulness. The birds were attracted to the ripples from a stone I had thrown in the water to attract their attention as they were flying overhead as they made their way home for the evening.
The still waters were gloriously reflecting the clouds evening colours and as I contemplated the scene a beautiful peace came over my spirit. As I pondered the sand, the water, the colours, the clouds and the animated frivolitiy of the gulls, I compared this scene with the turmoil spouted in the daily paper and it dawned upon me how much in life we had to be grateful for. The lesson I learned was to keep my mind bathed in things of praise rather than complaint about the messages of darkness.
I have written a poem about the wisdom I learned that day.

Hand signed and numbered (RM1) by the
artist. Printed
on 350gsm EPSON PREMIER ART WATER RESISTANTARCHIVAL CANVAS
with 8 colour EPSON ULTRACHROME K3 Inks and archival protected with a hotmelt, PVC laminate process; applied at 90 degrees celcius. We use only satin as the gloss is too blingy and the matt is lifeless. The film contains UV inhibitors to increase fade resistance.
Made from a durable blend of 65% Polyester and 35% Cotton, this unique heavyweight, quality canvas utilizes a tight weave that is ideal for photographic and fine art reproductions.
