I WILL DANCE WITH THE JOY OF MY FATHER - Upon the pillars of heaven
Code: ph11-13

Contemporary poetry enlargement

THE STORY:

I was in the process of videoing friends windsurfing at Rangiputa, Kari Kari Peninsula, Northland, New Zealand when the strong guttural sounds of birds above me in a Macrocarpa tree challenged my dedication to the task at hand. I watched, observed their habits and realized I had a new story to tell. Because of the strong wind funneling up the side of a cliff they seemed to be playing games in the air currents and then, exhausted, landing in the tree for periods of rest. That was it, I must satisfy my desire to capture images and find out later why this unusual behavior.

As I watched I saw the pleasure they were experiencing. It seemed to me the life they were showing was a reflection of the glory God had placed in their character. I was hooked, and after a series of photos this story begged to find a surreal edge to it with expressions of delight, as when a child plays and is enjoyed by their delighted father. If you have experienced this
emotion, when either your natural father or the pressance of the devines joy is noticed by you, you will know you are loved and life is worth the living. A good father enjoys seeing and encourages his childrens playing with such child like abandon and freedom. If you know that you will know what I experienced in my curiosity.

fI chose the pillars idea from a thought that any person who builds their faith upon the wisdom from heaven can only dance with joy in their heart, and the body movements may follow as they discover the freedom in knowing the truth in the words "I love you and get great pleasure out of seeing you enjoy what I have given you to enjoy". This is the heart of a true fathers affection for His offspring as seen in the pillars of truth. Forgiveness, mercy, peace, purpose, playfulness, freedom, loved and life everlasting.

About the reason for the Herons behavior. It was matting season and what more could you ask for in the excitement of spring. A fathers desire being fulfilled.

The back ground scene was from an image I took @ 32,000 feet above the Pacific while on my way to Fiji for a windsurfing holiday.
