THE
STORY:
The original painting I created in the mid 80's. In 2010 I took it out of my collection and have reworked it by adding the story "Hunters and Collectors". The thoughts behind this came while watching people walking the beach hunting and gathering bits and pieces to take home as momentoss and edibles. In doing this I noted that all of creation has within it the hunter collector motivation, so I took the thought further from "Hunters and Collectors 1" by adding in some of the passions known to man. Including the Australian magpie and a cicada I added a business man, a humorous twist on seeking love, star gazers, fish and native men fishing. If you think about it, all are hunting to gather.
