THE
STORY:
I was commissioned to illustrate this in 1994 and to my embarrassment I have no record of the person I illustrated it for. No doubt one day we will meet again and hopefully, to his surprise, he will note the increased value of his investment.
I used only 3 grades of pencil leads to get the rich black and gray tones and the challenge was to be true to detail. I enjoyed trying to retain the effects of light on the dolphins. If I remember correctly, the images drawn were taken from images my client supplied to me.
